Welcome to the Bright Lights blog from the Waltham Public Library. Bright Lights is a new program at the library designed to promote lifelong learning. Dr. Matthew Raider was our first presenter, speaking to an audience of fifty nine people about the art of meditation. Our second Bright Lights event was a memoir workshop taught by Elisabeth Carter, a Waltham writing teacher. In January, we’ll be having more programs in which you can share poetry and learn cake decorating. We will also be featuring lectures to ease your worries about retirement. We are most excited to debut our daytime book club starting in April. Check out our website and the library events calendar as more programs become available. These programs are free so sign up now!
