SHINE–staying healthy in Retirement

On Wednesday, March 18th, at 7:00PM, Cynthia Phillips and Kathy Campbell spoke to us about two state-sponsored programs:  SHINE (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) and Prescription Advantage.  Did you know that you can find SHINE counselors at the Waltham Council on Aging?  They can help you to save money on your medical care.
Did you know that applicants who are eligible for Medicare may apply for Prescription Advantage whether or not they are already enrolled in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan?

Massachusetts residents are fortunate to have this program….Less than one half of the fifty states have programs like Prescription Advantage.
