90 Second Newbery

If you’re a budding film maker and know your award books, check out this contest from the New York Public Library. Make a short film that tells the story of a Newbery Award winning book in 90 seconds or less. The deadline is September 15, 2011 so you have awhile to think about this. (Talk to your parents before uploading anything online).
Check out this hilarious entry summarizing A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.

Hello, this is James Kennedy, the co-curator of the “90-Second Newbery” project (and the author of “The Order of Odd-Fish”).

Thanks for spreading the word about the contest! I hope we get some videos from Waltham! I also see that “Odd-Fish” is in your catalog. I warmly approve.
