Welcome to WPL Bytes, the blog for Waltham teens who love the library or even those who don’t.  My co-workers and I will be posting about events for the library, books,  happenings in Waltham that may be of interest to you, or favorite web sites, etc.  My name is Laura  and I work at the reference desk at the library.  For a long time, I was the Young Adult Librarian, which meant that I did the programs and bought materials for anyone in middle school or high school.  I still help out with some programs at McDevitt and Waltham High School.  Right now, we don’t have a Young Adult Librarian so my co-workers and I are still buying all the materials and planning the events.  Some of the events that we have had have been a summer reading program and a video game program.  If you have any ideas or comments about what you want to see at the library (doesn’t have to be book related) please comment below or e-mail me at lbernheim@minlib.net
