Teen Book Review — The Invention of Hugo Cabret

Title: The Invention of Hugo Cabret
Author: Brian Selznick
Stars (out of 5): 4
Review: Reading this book is more of an art experience than a reading experience. The Invention of Hugo Cabret is a quick read, although it may not look like it at first. The book is mostly pictures, but instead of just flipping through the pictures, you might want to take a longer look at them. My favorite part was when Hugo told Isabelle the truth about the automaton and where he lived. I think that readers of any age would enjoy this book, but you might have to be older to really understand it.
