Your Questions, Answered
You do not need to make an appointment for our contactless pickup. When you are notified that your requested items are ready for pickup, come to the Library’s Ground Floor/Parking Lot entrance Monday – Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM. You will give your name to the Library staff, and they will retrieve your materials from the hold shelf and check them out to you.
Please note that you must wear a face mask while picking up your materials.
The Library building is not open to the public. However, you can request items online or call us at 781-314-3425. We will notify you once your materials are ready to be picked up. You may pickup your items at our Ground Floor/Parking Lot entrance Monday – Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM.

The library catalog is accessible here. This is where you can browse and request items. If you do not know your account login information or if you would like to request an item over the phone, please call us at 781-314-3425. All returned material is quarantined for at least 24 hours in a separate room in the Library. After this time, the materials will be checked in. Fines will not accrue during the quarantine time on the items.
The building is not open to the public so desktop computers cannot be used at this time. However, the Library has laptops available to checkout for a 48 hour period. There are laptops with and without DVD/CD drives, so be sure to reserve the correct one. Please read our updated Laptop Agreement Form here.
If the item is listed as available at another library, it may take several more days than usual to arrive. After its arrival, the item is quarantined for at least 24 hours before being processed and put on the holdshelf. If the item is very popular, there could be a longer wait list. Please call 781-314-3425 if you would like assistance.

If you have an item that you would like to donate to our Local History collection, please contact our Archivist.
