Computers and Technology

The Waltham Public Library offers a variety of technology classes including one on one tech sessions, basic computer classes, and maker classes that cover 3D design & printing, vinyl cutting, and more. To see what classes we are offering this month, visit our calendar.

The Waltham Public Library offers free computer access to library card holders. We have desktop PCs, laptops, and Chromebooks available. Desktops are available for two hours each day. Our Computer Use Policy is available here.

The WPL has free WiFi available for public use. Our Internet Use Policy is available here.

The Library of Things is a unique collection of items that are available for Waltham patrons to check out. The collection includes household, electronic, and music items, such as Rokus, a Nintendo Switch, ukulele, telescope, karaoke machine, digital converters, Cricut Explore Air 2, and a GoPro. 

Printing is available from our public desktops. We also have a wireless printer for printing from laptops, phones, and tablets. Printing is currently free. Click here for more information.

The Library has a scanner and photocopier. Scanning is free. Copying costs 10¢ per page for black & white and 25¢ per page for color.
